Cushion Assembly Coverer

Upholstery Shop - Summerville, SC - Full Time

Sportsman Boats is looking for dedicated, hard working Cushion Assembly Coverers to join our Upholstery department.  

What you will do:

  • Stuff and fit cushions following patterns
  • Staple and secure fabric to framework 
  • Inspect cushions for defects, damage, or stains
  • Compare physical characteristics of materials or products to specifications or standards.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Execute additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

To be considered you must have:

  •  Ability to stand and work with your hands for 5+ hours/day
  • Ability to lift cushions 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail oriented, proactive and able to complete tasks independently with minimal supervision
  • Advanced verbal communication skills
  • Advanced time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Experience with manual assembly
  • Bilingual Spanish/English
