- Supervises the Facilities Maintenance team and provides leadership, direction, and support to ensure cleanliness and upkeep of facility.
- Identify, plan and delegate tasks to team members and help to get work complete.
- Maintain the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, conference rooms, breakrooms, restrooms, parking lots and grounds
- Perform routine maintenance on facilities and make repairs as needed
- Schedule routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors
- Organizes and maintains process for storage of tools, equipment, materials and parts outside.
- Assist with the disposal of trash and chemicals to stay compliant and keep the facility safe and clean.
- Prepare facilities for changing weather conditions
- Safety inspections: Conduct routine safety inspections
- Safety policies: Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
- Safety equipment: Provide the right tools and equipment for maintenance staff
- Safety compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and correct any deviations
- Safety communication: Educate employees about safety policies and provide training programs
- Responsible for First Responder training and delegation plantwide
- Environmental compliance: Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and policies. This can include environmental audits and impact reviews.
- Environmental management systems: Coordinate with contractors to develop and maintain environmental management systems (EMS).
- Environmental permits: Coordinate with contractors to manage regulations and permits related to company operations.
- Environmental reporting: Coordinate with contractors to develop methods and compile data for environmental compliance reports and performance tracking.
- Environmental audits: Conduct environmental audits to evaluate compliance with permits and regulations.
